EXTRACTION OF FOLLICLES

EXTRACTION OF FOLLICLES

After the anesthesia process is completed, the removal and collection of the hair roots begin. The DHI or FUE technique, performed with a micro-motor, allows for the extraction of hair from the donor area in a homogeneous way, avoiding a patchy or unsightly appearance after the surgery, and leaving no scars, as seen in the FUT procedure. It is done with utmost care to avoid overharvesting.
FUT, the oldest technique for root extraction, is now considered outdated. In FUT, hair follicles are taken along with the skin through surgical incisions, and the donor area is stitched, with the stitches being removed after a week.
